CONTRACTING OFFICER REPRESENTATIVE

- You will serve as the Contracting Officer's technical point of contact for assigned contracts.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that requirements for contracted services are adequately defined and that contracts fulfill established requirements.
- You will assign and delegate specific contract authorities and may provide performance evaluation input to an employee's supervisor.
- You will serve as a technical advisor on the interpretation of requested contract requirements and provide guidance for special circumstances.
- You will plan and implement procedures to ensure contractor compliance to contractual requirements.
- You will provide input and recommendations on finding and observations for contract modifications, fund withholdings or other actions necessary to maintain/improve the quality and timelines of the assigned functional areas.
Requirements
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of performance evaluation methods and surveillance plans and techniques for oversight of contractor performance and; 2) Monitoring a full range of contracts, contracting plans, and contracting changes for propriety of acquisitions methods, contract type, and documentation and; 3) Developing pre-award and post award statement of work and cost estimates for new solicitations or contract modification and; 4) Providing technical guidance on contractual performance requirements.
